Climate Resilience can help us to focus on the ways that we need to heal the world rather than just getting overwhelmed. My own resilience journey began when my daughter was diagnosed with food allergies more than 20 years ago. This chart is the result of my journey over that time. It is very much a living document and changes over time as my journey continues.
This chart is aspirational as I know I do not have time for all these actions. Large parts are still waiting to be filled. The chart is a touchstone of specific steps that I want to take and helps me to remember of all the work I have done to date.
I encourage you to consider what actions you will take on your own resilience journey. Your chart may be a series of images, or a list, or whatever works for you. I hope that through becoming resilient and considering your actions in response to climate change you will come to feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. I know that our path forward is a combination of individual actions and systemic change. I intend to achieve both.
